Veritas Caspian LLP - Since the formation of the company in 2005, the company has been very active with data acquisition and processing of 2D/3D data collected over the unlicensed offshore blocks and the Pearls Block located within the territorial water of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2005: Formation and registration of Veritas Caspian LLP, a joint venture (50/50%) company between Kazmorgeophysica CJSC, a subsidary of Caspian Services Inc and Veritas DGC Limited, a part of the CGG Group.
2006: Veritas Caspian, owing to the successful offer in 2005, has concluded the exclusive contract with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan on the acquisition of non-exclusive seismic data over the entire open acreage of the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea.
2006-2008: Veritas Caspian 2D acquisition program comprises of over 8000 km of 2D Full Fold data coverage over the unlicensed areas of both the Northeast and Middle Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan sector. The survey was recorded during the summer of 2006, 2007 and 2008 by Veritas Caspian using a 480 channel split-spread Ocean Bottom Cable with a sleeve airgun array source and a Streamer marine cable system.
2008-2009: The Pearls 3D survey was carried out in the Kazakhstan Sector of the Caspian Sea for Caspi Meruerty Operating Company. The survey was an Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC) survey covering 900 km2 (sub-surface) in water depths of 5 to 9 metres. The seismic source was an air-gun array, and the survey was recorded in three blocks, appropriately zippered, utilizing parallel swath geometry. Operations commenced with mobilization in August 2008, and the survey was completed in September 2009. The work period covered two summer seasons in the Caspian Sea.
